Sand casting is a versatile method that allows for intricate shapes and larger components in iron and steel. It’s well-suited for low to medium production runs, offering excellent dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
Gray Iron Casting
Gray iron casting offers versatility, superior fluidity and strength, ideal for a wide range of industrial applications. With its outstanding machinability, this material is often chosen for components requiring durability and high performance.
Explore the Advantages of Nearshoring
How We Build Your Part.
Every casting goes through a controlled sequence — design, molding, melt, and heat treatment — before it ever leaves our floor. Here's what that looks like.
We use CAD and solidification modeling software to engineer the optimal casting geometry before a single mold is made. This eliminates shrinkage surprises and reduces rework cycles — saving you time and tooling cost.
Our molding area handles small to medium volume runs with flexibility built in. Small molds run on our automated molding line; larger molds are floor-made. Our mixer adapts sand formulations per casting type.
Two induction furnaces — 1-ton and 3-ton — give us the versatility to run multiple alloys and casting sizes in parallel. Every melt is sampled and spectrometer-verified before pouring.
Most foundries send your castings out for heat treatment. We don't. Our on-site furnace handles 6 tons per cycle — meaning faster turnaround, full traceability, and no third-party delays between your casting and your deadline.
No Outsourcing.
No Delays.
Heat treatment directly affects final mechanical properties — hardness, toughness, and dimensional stability. Having this in-house means we control every variable.
Catch It Here.
Not on Your Line.
Sand casting is not a zero-defect process — and any foundry that tells you otherwise isn't being straight with you. What we can promise is rigorous in-house testing at every stage, so issues are caught here, not when your line is already running.
